Victoria’s Secret and AMARLA Retail are proud to bring Victoria’s Secret full concept stores to the Nordics, with the first store of 900 sqm opening this fall in Gallerian in Stockholm. These VSFA stores will for the first time feature Victoria’s Secrets entire range of products and will offer an outstanding customer experience. To join us on this journey we’re now searching for a category manager.

Role Outline
In-store expert in inventory control, visual merchandising management and –primarily- responsible for driving sales of a specific group of products. A Category Manager cooperates with the VM & Brand Delivery teams to make the specific category highly visible, accessible and appealing to customers. Supports the back of house (BOH) team to improve the speed of inventory turnover in this category.

Main Responsibilities
- Drive performance of respective category based on sell through & KPIs’ (Key Performance Indicators) targets
- Analyze data & customer insights to determine consumer trends & maximize productivity
- Devise long-term development strategies for respective product category
- Liaise with Store Manager to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities
- Suggest & develop exit strategies for slow-moving products
- Ensure merchandise availability for respective category along with Brand Delivery Manager in the store
- Contribute in flawless visual merchandising of relevant category along with VM Manager of the store
- 80% of time on the sales floor
- Owns 2-6 non peak Customer Sales Lead segments (2h) per week

- Ownership and accountability for results in their categories/sub-brands
- Talent management of direct reports

- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Retail sector
- Strong background in merchandising & customer service
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to solve problems
- Attention to detail
