Context: Elis is the European leader in its sector, with an extensive portfolio of activities, including the rental and maintenance of professional clothing, textiles, sanitary equipment, floor protection mats, water coolers and coffee machines. With a turnover over €3bn, Elis is present in 28 countries. The turnover for Workwear activity exceeds €900M. To support the development of the Workwear activity, Elis is seeking a Manager for the Technical team based in Sweden. His/her task will be to define common rules in terms of patterns, best practices for the whole group and improve the efficiency.The position As Technical Development Manager you will be responsible for the Technical department (pattern constructors and sample maker) in Gothenburg, reporting to the Product Development Manager based in Gothenburg. You will have strong interactions with the Project leaders and the Product managers based in Gothenburg and Paris, as well as with our workwear manufacturing plant in Estonia. To succeed in this position you have developed direct and transversal managerial skills. You have experience in working as Technical Development Manager preferably in Workwear business. You can set the pace and enjoy a high tempo with many challenges.Tasks and responsibilities - Take lead of and develop all processes within technical development department. Define and implement processes with the technical team based in Svarmil, our manufacturing unit in Estonia.- Operationally lead and develop the Technical Development department.
